Give yourself the best chance with these top ten study tips.

1. Give yourself enough time to study. Don't leave it until the last minute. ... 

• Plan out before your start preparation. The time in hand vs the preparation required. 
• Prioritise your studies. You are having around 4 preparation exams before you go for final board exams. So study the chapters you are comfortable with thoroughly so that you can slove all kind of questions from that.

• Keep your notes, books, records and all the other material in  one place. This will reduce stress and wastage of time in searching for the things. 
• Allocate and use a specific area for this always.

    3.    Use flow charts and diagrams to remember facts. ...

•  There are many facts, sequence of events, steps and classifications that need to be remembered. Use your own flowcharts or diagrams to remember them.
• Break up long definitions into words which are important. E.g.

                  Array is
                            collection of elements
                             same datatype
                             refered by common name,
            This will help you in remembering long definitions easily.

• Collect number of question papers from various sources and revise all the questions based on that chapter from the question papers.

•  Get into habit of explaining your answers to someone. Let it be your mother, father, brother, sister or friend. Even if they have no understanding of the subject explaining them will give you better understanding and clarity.

•   Organise study groups not necessarily physical but can be on internet as whats app group or facebook group that will enable you to ask doubts and share resources include an adult member like parents or teachers in the group to monitor so that you do not deviate from studying.

    7.  Take regular breaks. ...

•  While studying take regular breaks. During break avoid watching TV or surfing net. Do any other work like helping your parents in house work, listen to a song, take pet for walk or just relax doing nothing.
• Let the schedule be 45-10. 45 min of study and 10 min of break with atleast 3 repetition before long break.

    8.  Snack on 'brain food'.

• Do not have too many starchy and fried snacks like chips, samosa etc. Instead eat chapati roll, dosa roll, salads, etc. Eat more home food that is cooked hygienically and healthy. You can learn to cook yourself small snacks that do not require a lot of cooking like sandwiches.
